Summer purchase!

Hey guys,
So my Mam just came back from Spain and as a gift she got me perfume in the airport, as it's duty free! I left her with the guideline of something floral scented as I needed a perfume for the summer, and something that wasn't too heavy. When she came home with Burberry Body I was a bit nervous because Burberry perfumes tend to be very heavily scented but this one was gorgeous!
The smell reminds me of exotic fruit and flowers that you'd see in hot countries like Spain. For a 60ml bottle its RRP is about €50 and one spray really goes a long way scent wise so you're getting a lot for your money. I really do recommend it if you're looking for something floral and fruity for summer that will really last you a long time. I can definitely see me buying this again!

Transition Year Grad

Hey Guys,

So yeah the title says it all really. On Thursday we graduated from Transition Year..., sad times :'(
TY, is like the year between the Junior and Leaving Cert which are two state exams for people who don't know. We finish before anyone else in the whole school because we don't do exams.
It was probably the best year we've ever had. We were just always having fun, going places, making new friends, getting closer to old ones!

On Thursday, we had an awards ceremony in school. There were a few different categories, and the two of us were lucky to get nominated. Ashleigh got nominated for the Social Skills Award, and Sarah got nominated for the Leadership Award, and best of all...WE WON!

We really weren't even expecting it because it was nice enough to be nominated so we were delighted we both won something! It's nice to say you got something out of the year :-)

So that night to celebrate our year, everybody went to a chinese for a buffet and to partay of course ;-)

We organised a DJ, so everybody was out dancing the whole night.

 It was great end to a great year and we'll never forget all the memories we've made! :-)

We've been just chilling around in the sun with friends, having BBQ'S the usual summery stuff :-)
I LOVE BBQ'S!! Especially with friends there always fun. Last night all the girls went to a friends house and we had a BBQ and a Eurovision Party. We were all rooting for JEDWARD, after coming 8th last year I really thought they had a chance :-( Even though, Sweden won we all had a great time!

Friday Check-In!

Hey Guys,

So we had been meaning to get a few posts up this week but that just didnt happen! But I promise we have plenty lined up :-)

Thinking about: NEW YORK! This day next week I'm off to NYC on holiday!!! I am SO EXCITED because I've never been but wanted to go for so long!

Obsessing over: The Sun..Ireland have been getting the most amazing weather these past few days it just so warm...the summer clothes are out!
So., sun please stay!!

Working on: Getting fit & toned! It's been very hard lately...need to stay focused!

Anticipating: Summer! Were officialy on our Summer Holidays now but I just can't wait for all the fun things we've got planned!!

Listening to: Well I don't have music on. but me and my mam are watching Alan Carr: Chatty man atm

Drinking: Nothing atm, but I am thirsty so after I finish this I'm staright to the kitchen for a big glass of water and ice haha!

Wishing: This Summer is the best one yet!!

10 Things That Annoy Me- Tag

Hey Guys,

So we decided to do a quick tag post, hope you like!

- When people chew really loudly....oh my god this annoys me so much! Or chew with their mouth open..gross Ha ha

- KITTEN HEELS...like why? What is the point...I personally just can't stand them!

- When people walk really slow...

- 1st & 2nd Years thinking their mad drinking in fields and smoking, and then posting it on Facebook...SHUT UP!

- When people constantly update their Facebook status, with stupid stuff like "Oh Mi Gawwwd...B3st Day Evaaa!!! Lov3 ya'zz and then they tag about 20 people..BACK TO BEBO FOR YOU !

- When people are obsessed with knowing everything that's going on, desperate for gossip. It has nothing to do with you!!

- You have a massive clear out in your room, throwing away everything you haven't used in a while and BOOM you need something you threw out in the clear out THE NEXT DAY!

- When you get given the cold shoulder by someone for no apparent reason, just because they feel like it.

- Putting empty cartons/packets back in the fridge/presses. It's not that hard to throw it in the bin, you're just getting my hopes up!

-  Realising you have homework/projects due for the next day at like 11pm. Absolutely soul destroying.

Monday Check In

Thinking about: Graduation from Transition Year Thursday week, pretty sure tears are going to be shed at it, this year has just been so much fun!

Obsessing over: PASTELS!! Pastels in any form, clothes nail polish, accessories, you name it I'll buy it. They're such good colours for summer.

Working on: Building up my portfolio for end of year interviews on Monday. I need twenty pieces to show and i have about fifteen, seriously doubting my ability to pass right now.

Anticipating: Summer! I'm so ready for long lie ins, chill out movie days and just the all round feel of summer.

Listening to: I'm going to the Kanye West and Jay-Z Watch The Throne concert next month so I'm listening to their songs so I can at least attempt to sing along!

Drinking: Water! My mind is set on getting my body toned and fit aswell as hydrated. Posts of toned, tanned girls on Tumblr are giving me inspiration, I will make it!!

Wishing: For the weather to get better, it's summer, not winter! The downside of living in Ireland.

Getting Bikini Ready!

Hey Guys,

Well the title says it all really! Haha ;-)
Well summers right around the corner and everyone's goal is to get nice and toned for the beach right??
So since Monday I've being eating healthy and going to the gym, even making a trip to Zumba! Aw I love it...but oh my god I am exhausted!!!
At the moment I'm sitting down watching Britain's Got Talent, first time I've properly sat down and watched tv all week!
The other week while I was on tumblr I came across this fitness blog, and that gave me the motivation to get up and do something. So, I took down some workouts and I've been doing them at the gym and there really good. Sarah and I went to the gym on monday and we did one, we couldn't believe when we were sore all over the next day!!

If your looking for motivation and tips I'd definitely go look on tumblr I couldn't believe how much good stuff they had on there also YouTube have some good fitness videos! Lauren Conrad posted a blog similar to this on her website the other day on what she does, so go check that out because she gives tips from her own personal trainer!

If you guys have any tips please comment below I'd love to see them!

Action Concert/Band Night

Hey guys,

So Thursday night, everyone went out to support the Action Concert in our school in Remembrance of Adam Keenan Byrne a student from our school who drowned last year. All proceeds went to Irish safety. So even people who couldn't attend they gave money to support. We didn't know Adam personally, but even if you didn't know him you knew how much he loved music, he would of loved all the performances! A few of our friends took part too which was fun, everyone was amazing! :-D

So last night there was a band night on where we live, a few of our friends took part again so everyone went out! it was good fun!! I didn't take much pics again but I did get a few of me & Sarah this time..woo!! Haha

Espagne!

Hey guys,
So heres the our big news we mentioned in out last post (albeit a day late), we're going to Spain baybeee! Woohoo.
 The two of us along with our friend Anna are going over as volunteers for a week to teach Spanish teenagers English on a programme called Pueblo Ingles. We're so excited, we're flying over to Madrid alone (ooh big girls or what?!) staying the night there, then getting a 5 hour bus ride to Monfrague, the place where we'll be staying.Not bad at the age of sixteen, eh?
The place looks AMAZING and we've heard great things from people who've already gone, unfortunately I can't add any pictures as the website won't let me (annoying, i know) but you can always go on their website and have a look, or wait till July when we post them (patience is a virtue ;-) )

Ladies Day at Punchestown 2012!

Hey Guys,

Okay, firstly sorry this post is SO late! The day I had planned to write this post I felt sick, so of course no blogging was done! What can I say were busy TY's ;-)

Anyways, onto Punchestown.....Well...for those of you who don't know, it's this horse racing festival held annually in Naas, Co.Kildare, if your from Ireland you will know what I'm talking about! It's usually held Tuesday-Saturday, with the dates changing every year. I've been going every year since I was little cos horse racing is big in my family because my cousins a jockey,WOOOP WOOO! Haha

In the past few years, all our friends have started going too, so it's usually a good, fun day out...(if the weather nice, that is!!) Every year, we go on Ladies Day which this year was on Friday 27th April.
The whole week the festival was on it was probably the worst week of weather EVER!! Ugh, it rained, rained and rained...NON STOP! So, some of the days were postponed to later in the day cos the conditions were just too bad, we didn't even know if it would still go ahead on the Friday. But thankfully it did, but instead of 8 races, it was shortened to 5. Better than nothing right?

I love getting all dressed up for the races, who doesn't love an excuse to find a whole new outfit?? So fun :-)
But we all ended up having a great day, it's always more exciting watching a race when you've put a bet on...all the competitive sides come out... haw haw ;-)
